We love this place. Country music, incredible vibe, and a chef who knows what he's doing. The Hyde-Away has our whole heart.
The margarita? That's a different story.
Sweet-flavored tequila. Sweet sour mix. Sweet on top of sweet on top of sweet. Bourbon was feeling generous with this review — he's already planning his return visit specifically to instruct the bartender on how to make a much better one. That's just who he is. Tequila's review was shorter: "Yuk."
Here's the thing — cheap tequila isn't the crime. Trying to hide it under a flood of sour mix? That's where we draw the line. Let the tequila be what it is, or use a better one. Simple.
